GREGGS

I have decided to try and research the 1950's advertisements for bakeries and tea room as that it when greggs was founded and thought if i could change the logo etc from somethig that is inspired from the founded era. doilies and china tea cups etc.

 Type very simplistic yet not
personal bold sttements and use of imagery and main characters

This is a delecatesant in the 1950's it has an expensive feel i need to take greggs back to its youth!
The sepia tones here look wonderful and make it look old children of the 50's was my main subjec to show that nothing has changed throughout the years of greggs bakery kids still love cake and so do greggs imagery can be very powerful within desigbn and especially if it has been contained in the logo.

I love this photoraphy i think its so cute how the childrn are trying to act as grown ups i like how the hair curls this delictae approach i would like to use these ideas within my
deisgn work although ti will be difficult to try and get imagery of children as they ae under 16 i would need consent. so i have decided to try and so some illustrations instead i belive that this is a light hearted way to reach out to an audience the use of the line work above looks so fluid within a design.

Throughout my research of the 1950's i came upon an iage of a young boy in black and white eating cakes which has made me research into childrens photography i belive it wil look really interesting with photography and illustration also promote this childrens tea party idea with bears and 1950's clothes for them to dress up in the tea room! mind is going to expload with all the ideas what are stemming off from this!!
